An individual wide field amacrine cell within the retina

Our Research:

Our laboratory uses molecular genetic approaches to identify and modulate populations of neurons in the retina as an entry point to understand how visual input is processed. We are using strategic immunohistochemical labeling in combination with confocal imaging to describe the anatomy and identify molecularly distinct subpopulations of interest.
